KD’S GOLD STANDARD

Canada’s love of KD is unique and unrivalled. Quintessentially Canadian, KD is considered by many to be a true National Treasure. It’s hard to conceive a way to make KD even more valuable, but that’s what Kraft set out to do with BSTREET’s help.

How do you make KD more valuable to Canadians? Make it out of gold of course. The KD Gold contest offered consumers a chance to win a 1-lb solid gold noodle.

The fun and engaging web experience was created by BSTREET and integrated the promotional TV spot. We created an online vault in order to lock away all of the KD Gold prizing, including our outrageous gold noodle.

To Crack the KD Vault, consumers needed special codes found inside KD Gold 4 and 12 pack cases. Each code represented a combination that could unlock the grand prize.

Special gold prizes were designed with KD fans in mind and gave winners the chance to wear their love for all to see, with a selection of gold wear-ables, perfect for summer.

The promotion was a large success, creating awareness to secure display, sales and online entries.
